Sarah Boersen has recently been nominated as the 2008/09 Summer Surf Girl for North Burleigh Surf Life Saving Club. The role is part of a number of fundraising initiatives across Surf Life Saving Clubs in Queenslandwith the view of being a spokesperson for Surf Life Saving, raising funds for the upcoming patrolling season and promoting community awareness on beach and surf safety and to provide vital life saving support on our Australian beaches.
